600 Mile Pipeline

Multiple 600 mile pipelines running from Colorado to Cushing, Oklahoma

The White Cliffs Pipeline system consists of two 527-mile, 12-inch diameter common carrier, crude oil pipelines that transport crude oil produced from the Wattenberg field in the Denver Julesburg Basin of Colorado to the market and pipeline interconnect center at Cushing, Oklahoma, known as the “Cushing Hub”.

 

Mapping, Surveying, Siting

Reagan Smith has been instrumental over the past 14 years in the various pipelines that have been installed from Denver Julesburg Basin to Cushing, Oklahoma. All portions that crosses county, state, federal or Tribal lands were mapped and sited. All required wetland determinations, endangered species surveys, environmental assessments and archaeological surveys were performed by Reagan Smith in accordance with NEPA and NHPA. Reagan Smith held stakeholder meeting with various entities to identify and address concerns and reroute if necessary.

Agency ROWs, Road and Railroad Crossings

Reagan Smith ROW and Land Departments identified and acquired all necessary Rights-of-Way, Road Crossings and Railroad Crossings from Local, County, State, Federal and Tribal authorities. Many areas of the route were required to be bored. Reagan Smith coordinated with survey and construction teams on boring protocols and requirements.

Project Management

Reagan Smith Land Department project managed all permitting and construction requirements for all the agency ROWs, Road and Railroad Crossings. All permits were databased and mapped. Reagan Smith continues to monitor these permits and make updates as necessary.
